Building on the concept of "Slow Design for Swift Transformation", bodies of water are used as a metaphor to illustrate how people and actions interact, creating far-reaching effects. From tranquil ponds and tiny puddles to dynamic streams and vast oceans, each water form represents a different scale of influence. This concept invites viewers to consider how students engage in various types and scales of social actions. With each action rippling through society, they react with others and cause significant change over time.
To illustrate various bodies of water, I explored both typography and graphic patterns. I used three-colour toothpaste to create patterns that effectively capture the fluidity and diversity of water. These physical patterns were then incorporated into the visual identity, showcasing the interactions among different water bodies.
